Kyra Corbin, LSCSW Mosaic Mental Wellness
Therapist
Kyra Buleza Corbin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for helping adolescents and young adults feel comfortable in their own skin and become their own greatest advocate. Kyra brings eight years of clinical experience to the therapy chair– which can look like thoughtful questions, calm in moments of crisis, or challenging conversations that often lead to a reinvigorated desire for change.
Kyra’s clinical backbone developed during her time treating adolescents hospitalized for eating disorder care and then continuing weekly sessions upon return home. Working on a team comprised of doctors, dietitians, nurses, and more seasoned therapists established a professional and clinical discernment that anchors her work today. Now in private practice, Kyra coordinates care with other professionals, giving her clients the same team approach. Her speciality is working with adolescents and young adults struggling with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and trauma.
As an east coaster who has found her home in the midwest, Kyra’s therapeutic style has been remarked as direct, practical, and “real.” She uses evidenced-based therapies, such as CBT, DBT, and ACT, to teach clients ways to tolerate their emotions in the moment so they can make decisions that align with their values and goals. She has witnessed the profound impact of young people figuring out who they are and is honored to be a part of a process that can shift the trajectory of someone’s life.
Outside of work, Kyra enjoys trying new restaurants with her husband, chasing her daughter around the house and savoring the first sip of coffee in the morning- if she can get up before her toddler, of course.
Kyra takes BCBS and Aetna insurance as well as self-pay.
Kyra is located at 100 S Main Street Ste 505
